Setting the Ambush on the Goblin Boss
The party lays out a coordinated ambush plan before engaging the goblin boss: holding fire bolts on high ground, luring enemies down a hallway choke point, and having Theren draw the boss out with an arrow to kick off the fight.
Before the throne room fight kicks off, Theren Vale lays out the plan piece by piece. "You should stay right where you're at and you're going to use fire bolts," he tells Barzer, setting up a choke point for the goblins to walk into. "As they pass by me and Nysera, we're going to light them up."
With positions set, Theren gives the signal to start it. "Let's draw these guys out. I'm going to attack Goblin Boss. I'm going to shoot an arrow from where I am right now." A clean, coordinated setup before a single die gets rolled — the kind of planning that makes the one-shot kill a moment later hit even harder.
