Post-battle options for the party in Nightstone

Current Situation

The battle is over. Orcs and bandits lie dead in the streets of Nightstone. We're wounded but victorious.

Immediate concerns:

  • The flying snake escaped - Kella's messenger got away. Someone will know what happened here.
  • Our horses ran off during the fight - we need to find a way to call them back (a whistle?)
  • [Loot needs to be divided]({{< ref "dividing-the-spoils" >}}) - Ring of Jumping, 1,056 gp in currency
  • We should rest and heal

Open questions:

  • Why did the orcs attack? Was it random or targeted?
  • Did the bandits know the orcs were coming?
  • What was Kella really doing here? Who was she reporting to?
  • What will the snake's master do when they learn the bandits are dead?
  • Is Nightstone safe now, or is there more coming?
